We focus on US measurements, mobile-friendly layouts, and static pages that load quickly on any connection. The site started with a pea gravel calculator and will expand with additional tools on separate routes under baselayercalc.com.
We do not charge for core calculator use. If the site grows, advertising, affiliate links, or supplier partnerships may help cover hosting and domain costs. Calculator results remain planning estimates — always confirm final quantities with your supplier.
How our estimates work
Each calculator uses visible formulas, unit conversions, and material assumptions so you can understand how the result was produced. For gravel and other bulk materials, supplier density, moisture, compaction, delivery minimums, and local pricing can change the final order quantity.
